Description

These foxes are so cute and were getting fluffy :aww:

Pic taken at Zoo Brno. Print available upon request.

Thank you in advance for all :+fav:'s I'm sorry I can't reply to all of them but appreciate every one :)

Thanks to `kkart for the critique on this one. I cropped and lightened the background a touch. I'm not too sure about the crop, should it be a square? Is the branch is distracting etc? I'm not feeling sure :(

Ok I will go ahead and critique this <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>

There are 2 things that hit me right away in the shot;

1) It is underexposed
2) I REALLY want to see the entire tail.

That being said, it isn't always possible to get something like the tail in the shot, and I do think you probably did the best you could within a captive environment.

The exposure, I would perhaps blend it some in areas of the foreground and background to bring it out, the problem we run in to though with underexposures, is that while much of the time the detail is retained (as it is in the whites) when when we try to lighten up the darks, we run in to major problems with noise. So it is kind of tricky, but if you can pull it off it will really add a LOT of "pop" to the image.

Your focus is nice, very nice with the face and how the eyes are looking right you.

The composition I am on the fence about, I think that maybe if you crop and recompose tighter, you can alleviate the shallow DOF on the right completely which would bring the animals more forward to the viewer.

Hope this helps some <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
