Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactSince you asked for a citique.... The details are spot on with true professional quality. The eyes are clear and sharp. Getting a shot like this is harder than people understand. The shot has quite a bit of dark but no offsetting white. I personally like shots that are darker but I find that the general dA population demands their white hightlights even on a cloudy day. I don't know how much photo correction you allow yourself but it's something to consider. One thing that people taking animals do (myself included) is put the face right in the middle of the frame. Since she is looking stage right maybe if she was moved slightly to stage left it would have made more impact? I do like the depth of field on this shot. It really makes the face pop.
