Thought I'd share a photo of the noisy buggers we have in our backyard. They love to eat our figs from the tree, it's OK though because they eat the ones at the top that we can't reach and leave the ones at the bottom that we can reach and I gt to take photos of them so it's a good deal :)

Beautiful shot. The colors of the bird brilliantly stand out against the dark green leaves. I love the how the leaves frame the bird, but he seems to be defiantly standing somewhat off-set in the composition; as if he knows you're taking the photograph and is a bit annoyed by the whole thing. He looks to be saying " Just take the shot already; I'm trying to eat." I am not a bird person but that is one gorgeous bird; you are very lucky to have these things flying around your yard. Beautiful photo. Huzzah and many kudos.

Thank you very much for your comment. I'm not a huge bird person either but when you have them in the backyard they grow on you, they are noisy though but I don't mind. Thanks again :D
